Shores of Panama is undergoing a complete exterior renovation during the off season dates of 2024 & 2025. You will see construction equipment/personnel & some areas may be closed due to construction. Overhead protection will be in place to prevent injury due to any falling materials. At times, groups of balconies will be closed. Emerald Beach Properties will let you know if the unit you are renting will be affected prior to your arrival. We thank you for your cooperation as Shores of Panama undergoes these improvements!Location, location, location!! Welcome to "Down By the Sea", Shores of Panama 201 in Panama City Beach, FL! This amazing 2nd floor wrap around floor plan has so many windows with the most gorgeous views of the majestic Gulf of Mexico. You are RIGHT ON THE BEACH! Comfortably accommodates up to 10 guests with 3 Bedrooms and 3 Bathrooms! There are two king beds, one queen bed, a set of bunk beds for the kids and a queen sleeper sofa. Reserved parking on the same floor very close to the entrance, too. Need more space? We have lots of other condos in Shores of Panama and other complexes in Panama City Beach, FL too. Let us know if you want quotes for any of them, too! We'll help you find your perfect place in paradise!
A 2-3 night minimum stay is required. Minimum rental age 21. No Pets. No smoking or vaping inside condo.
Shores of Panama, located right on the sand with 300 ft of private beach, is a modern 22 story resort with all the amenities you expect from a world class resort. The grand lobby is beautifully appointed with a snack shop and plenty of seating for just hanging out. You'll love the beautiful aquarium in the lobby, too. The indoor pool & hot tub are just around the corner. This is one of the few Panama City Beach resorts with an indoor pool & hot tub! Just outside is the 20,000 sq ft beach front pool complex with its giant hot tub and tiki bar and grill for snacks and drinks on the pool deck. The pool is the largest on the beach with a zero entry area, dolphin fountains, lazy river feature and dramatic bridges. Enjoy a great workout in the state of the art fitness center. Outdoor charcoal grills and picnic area is adjacent to the parking lot. Bicycle rentals are available on property. You'll love all the fabulous amenities.
The second floor location of Down by the Sea is so convenient to the beach and all the Resort's amenities with no waiting for an elevator. Even better, your reserved parking space is on the 2nd floor just a short walk to your condo. Having a parking space on the same floor as your condo is a really big benefit and the second floor is even better! In addition you will receive a parking pass for an additional vehicle to be parked in the parking deck.
Complimentary high speed Wi-fi and DirecTV are provided throughout the condo for your enjoyment and entertainment. The great room and each bedroom has its own TV so everyone can watch what they want. Check out all the premium channels!
The elegant Great Room is a huge open plan living area with the living, dining and kitchen areas together so you'll never feel closed in! It's a tropical paradise! Two sliding doors lead to the fabulous wrap around balcony where you'll enjoy incredible beach vistas! The balcony is great for morning coffee, watching the world go by all day and evening sunset celebrations! Kick back and relax on the elegant micro-suede queen sleeper sofa or one of the two tropical print easy chairs. There are additional chairs for more seating, too. The upgraded sleeper sofa has the latest gel memory foam mattress for extra comfort.
The high end tropically inspired dining area is a spectacular place for dining and gathering everyone together for game night. With 6 dining chairs and 4 swivel topped barstools, there is plenty of seating. You'll love the understated beauty of the dining area. The glass topped table is easy to clean up with no worries about the fancy wood.
Your large updated modern kitchen has an amazing view with the two glass sliding doors and the dining room window, too. The high end cabinetry and granite counter tops give you plenty of storage and food prep space. Whether you're popping a bag of popcorn or cooking a full course gourmet meal, you'll find the equipment you need in this kitchen. Your rental includes plenty of pots, pans, utensils, tropical dishes, glassware, flatware, a drip coffee maker and a Keurig machine, a toaster and all the major appliances. The little ones will really like their colorful unbreakable dinnerware, too. The pantry beside the refrigerator is great for storing your groceries!
The stack washer and dryer are located adjacent to the kitchen in the hallway. It's really convenient to have laundry in your vacation rental to keep up with all the wet bathing suits and beach towels!
The Captain's Quarters Main Suite is gulf front with an elegant nautical theme. There's even an authentic ship model and portholes right above the bed. The tropically accented king sized bed has luxury high thread count linens, fluffy pillows and a memory foam topper for extra comfort. There's nothing quite like sleeping to the sounds of the ocean just outside. Just look out the window and the beach is right there! Enjoy watching your favorite programs on the large flat screen TV in this luxury suite. Your en suite main bath has an extra deep tub/shower combo with a shower massage and a vanity area high end cabinetry and granite counter tops. There's even a hair dryer. Your rental includes plenty of soft terry towels for the bathrooms, too. There are also large his and hers closets with plenty of storage.
The First Mate's Quarters has a luxurious "iron" king sized bed with luxury linens and for maximum comfort. The island inspired décor really sets the mood for a great beach vacation! The wall mounted flat screen TV is great for relaxing, too. This room has a private entrance to the adjacent full bathroom so there's plenty of privacy. The beautifully updated bathroom has everything you need. An exterior window opens onto the hallway outside and there is a large closet for storage.
The First Mate's bathroom is decorated with shells and palm trees and has a tub/shower combo with a shower massage and a single vanity with a granite counter top and a hair dryer. It has a private entrance from the bedroom and an additional hall entrance so it can be used as the bathroom for guests sleeping on the queen sleeper in the great room, too.
The Crew's Quarters Suite is a great place for a young family with children or for a group of older kids. It has a comfy queen sized bed and a set of bunk beds for the kids. The elegant coastal oak décor really makes a statement. As with the other bedrooms, there are high thread count linens and a luxury mattress on the queen bed. There is also a large closet for storing the luggage and hanging up your clothes. The large wall mounted flat screen TV complete the picture! This suite has a private bathroom with tub/shower combo and a shower massage and a beautiful modern vanity with plenty of light for getting ready to go out! Bunk beds are for use by persons under 100 pounds only, please.
Your rental includes 2 parking passes, one for your private reserved parking space in the garage and one additional space in general parking. Parking rules are strictly enforced by the Condo Association. Parking passes are required for all vehicles. Vehicles parked in reserved spaces or without parking passes are subject to towing without notice. Additional parking is available in several offsite parking lots for an additional daily fee.

The property was clean. Minor matenance issues were promptly addressed after they were reported. Their rule of no one in the pool area to see the sunrise was totally unwarranted. The parking lot staff need training on customer service and how to give clear information regarding parking passes, etc.

We’ve stayed at Shores of Panama a few times. Condo 201 was the perfect place to stay. Parking close on the same floor and no need to use the elevators. We will definitely book again. We had no issues, did not need to contact the manager. We had a great vacation with family!

The room was just like the pictures and the view from the balcony was amazing! The place was nice and clean and perfect for our family getaway. The pool was amazing and we had easy access to the beach. We would def come go back to this spot!

Great view from this unit…had problems getting the TV in den on, but property manager had a repair guy there the next morning to fix it (was missing a remote control). Their promptness was appreciated. Also Could use a lamp in the den area for reading at night. Otherwise, we were very pleased with our stay. It was Great having an assigned parking space on 2nd floor, so never had to use the elevators.

We greatly enjoyed our stay. Loved the reserved parking.. property was great and not too crowded during our stay. My husband and I brought 5 kids with us and we all had plenty of room to spread out. I loved that there were fans available to use. Being someone that is used to sleeping with a fan, this was a blessing. Just a few item I recommend that we needed that were not available was a strainer, kitchen scissors, and a whisk. Thanks so much for allowing us to stay!!

Great location and easy access to second floor with reserved parking and no waiting on elevators to get down to pool or beach! Nicely furnished and spacious with fantastic views of the beach from wrap around balcony! We would definitely stay here again.

By Naquita, Posted: 04/01/2021We had a wonderful time! There was plenty of room for our family. The Condo was nice and clean. The convenience to the pool and our vehicle was superb. The ease of checking in and checking out was great. We were able to check in early which was even better! The only minor problems was the fridge ice maker didn't work and there isn't an on-site spa as the the brochure says. But none of that mattered, it was so much to do and the view was everything. We will be here again without a doubt.

Ease of access to the 2nd level parking from this unit was amazing, and just one flight of stairs meant never waiting for the elevators to get to any of the amenities. The ocean view was incredible. Thank you for a great stay.
By Randy, Posted: 09/04/2020Unit 201 is a nice unit with an AMAZING view. The elevators on the property malfunction daily. The Fire Department is always on-site doe this reason. Don’t worry about the elevators and stay in this unit!!!
The property is very strict about not allowing pool toys or a small Bluetooth speaker in the pool area. Staff was always friendly and accommodating. Best place to stay! Location Location Location!

Pool was spacious but seating was always full. It is a big complex so there are a lot of people. Convenient to shops and restaurants.

Loved having 3 separate bathrooms, loved the view from our deck, loved the pool! Wonderful place! Get the Shrimp and Gouda Grits at Pineapple Willy's and we also liked Margaritaville & Harpoon Harry's. Our favorite moments were seeing stingrays in the water by the condo, the Sunset Dolphin Tour, going to Tootsies for Tara's birthday and feeding the seagulls

We loved going shell hunting on the pontoon boat and spending time on the beach. Our favorite restaurant was Dat Cajun Place! The condo was really nice with plenty of room for all of us. We'll stay here again next time!

Only complaint is the arm bands they messed up after ocean time and shower time. We got stop several time and had to wait while someone went up to get messed up band. I had my 2 year old granddaughter with me and this was not professional we had to wait at gait after being st ocean all day something's needs to be done about this. There were many coming and going and did not have a band on and was not stopped. We quite going down to ocean and pool ,For this reason we never stay here again,

This was an ideal location for the FL Ironman. It walking distance to the race and Walmart! I loved having a key code to get into the room. The room was clean, had a beautiful view, and the facilities were great. I would stay there again.

It is perfect for each couple to have a private bedroom and private bathroom. I would absolutely recommend this condo to anyone. With the reserved parking space on the same floor, we never used the elevator and it was a big plus. We had a great sunset view and ocean view from the balcony and there was plenty of seating. We enjoyed the small zoo and took a cruise on the Sea Dragon Pirate cruise, (don't miss the Pirate Cruise if you have children) we have been to Gulf World and also enjoyed that in the past. We ate next door at Pineapple Willies, Captain Andersons, Sharkys, Dee's Hang Out, Margaritaville and had lunch a couple of times at Shores of Panama Tiki Hut. We enjoyed them all and have no complaints. If there is one thing in Panama City that is easy to find it is good food.
